A counselor is available 24/7 to answer all calls for shelter or information at (514) 481-0495 - Shelter
Located in a confidential area of the city, our home can accommodate up to 9 families at a time. All services are free and confidential. - Crisis Intervention
Responding to the immediate needs of the women and children in house. - Individual Counselling
All women are assigned a primary caseworker who will assist them throughout their stay. - Art Therapy
Once a week, women and children can participate in art therapy sessions. - Accompaniments
Depending on the needs, the counselling team may offer various community accompaniments (court, legal aid, welfare etc). - Youth Services
The childcare counselor works directly with mothers and children, offering support to all mothers and children within the home including creative activities, respite care, mothers groups, individual and family counseling. - Workshops
Women are invited to attend various workshops throughout their stay. - Advocacy
When a woman feels her rights are not being respected, the counseling team will advocate on her behalf (legal, financial assistance, etc). - Referrals
Referrals to various external resources are offered to the women and children in accordance to their needs.

- Individual Counselling
Women and children may access external services from Monday to Friday even if they are still currently residing with their partners. - Post Shelter
Once a woman leaves the shelter she may be referred to our post-shelter program. Here, she will continue to receive support and counseling. - Prevention
The external team delivers violence prevention workshops and sensitizations to various community organisations including high schools, colleges and universities. - Workshops
Women are invited to attend various workshops (Mothers group, self-esteem workshops, domestic violence info sessions, etc) - Advocacy
